So, if your inbox is anything like mine, you get a lot of emails each day. And, if you’re anything like most people, you’re not maximizing the opportunity that is in front of you to position your brand.
Because they are emailing you, more than likely they would like a response and you probably do respond but you don’t maximize it by highlighting your brand in front of them below your response in your email signature.
I know it sounds simple, but you’d be surprised the number of emails I receive that do not have a consistent email signature that positions their Incredible Factor in a way that could lead to more in their business. The way I see it, you are going to respond anyway, right? So, why not maximize it?
Creating your email signature is another way to create consistent branding for your name and business. To ensure that your brand is consistent, we personally recommend that you create an effective presence online as well as offline. If you want to build a solid network and net worth, you must maximize every exposure to expand your brand. I recommend that you set up an auto-signature with your email service provider that goes out on EVERY email – yes everyone. Remember, repetition is important in marketing as it can take up to 8 impressions before a person sees you as you want to be seen in the market.
I suggest using the following as a template:
First Name M.I. Last Name
Official Title(s) (if appropriate – if your title doesn’t say anything, skip it)
Business Name
Tagline or Incredible Factor Power Statement
Website (be sure that you can access your blog from your main site)
